Get SFU-Ready: New International Student Q & As
Congratulations on your admission to SFU!
International Services for Students (ISS) provides support and services to all SFU students who need information about international learning opportunities and international student support.
You can find the ISS office on the Burnaby campus at the Maggie Benston Centre (MBC) Room 1200. Our ISS space is currently closed due to COVID-19 safety measures; however, we are still available to support you remotely via LiveChat, phone, and email.
We look forward to working with you during your time at SFU.
Are you ready to be an SFU student in September? How prepared are you for your transition?

We hope you will join us for this Q&A series, where in each session an International Student Advisor will provide a brief overview of the selected topics for international students and give you a chance to ask any questions you still have.
Access all the information you must know as an incoming student from international pathways.
International pathways include international students coming from outside Canada, transferring to SFU from FIC or another Canadian post-secondary, or newly arriving permanent resident, returning Canadian citizen, or refugee.
Select your pathway for a step-by-step guide on starting your journey at SFU:
For international undergraduate students transferring to SFU from FIC or another Canadian post-secondary institution
